Job summary

Marquis Industrial Services is expanding its Rope Access team to perform inspections, repairs and routine maintenance on heavy industrial equipment using IRATA rope access methods across client sites.

The position requires a minimum of five years in petrochemical environments, IRATA Level III, strong communication and teamwork, background and hair follicle testing clearance, a valid driver's license, and the stamina to work at heights safely.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level III certification is required.
• Minimum five years of petrochemical work experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to pass background and hair follicle testing.

Responsibilities

• Abide by and follow established Marquis Safety rules and practices.
• Oversee day-to-day operations on technicians assigned to the crew.
• Use rope-access methods and related equipment to access and complete maintenance and repairs.
• Review timesheets and field-level risk assessments, addressing deficiencies and providing feedback.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, training, and skills development to technicians.
• Assist in investigating near misses and safety incidents, documenting non-conformances.
