Job summary

Intertek Global is seeking a Rope Access Level I Technician in Houma, LA to perform visual inspections via rope access under supervision. You will support offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico and may have some land-based work, with relocation not mandatory but reliable transport to the Houma office required.

Applicants must hold SPRAT/IRATA Level I, with ASNT Level II preferred, TWIC, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Current SPRAT/IRATA Certification Level I required.
• ASNT Level II certification preferred.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Must pass a physical examination.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain climbing logbook per SPRAT/IRATA guidelines.
• Prepare NDE reports and document data in a timely manner.
• Interface with clients on rope access and NDE procedures.
• Coordinate with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Organize and report test results to office for data processing.
• Monitor technology advances in NDE/Rope Access.
