Job summary

Responsibilities

Company Description Squeegee Squad Nashville is a locally owned commercial window cleaning and exterior building maintenance company serving the greater Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin areas. The team works on properties ranging from low-rise offices to 30+ story towers, specializing in high-rise window cleaning by rope access. Clients include property managers, chief engineers, and facility directors for office towers, apartment communities, hotels, universities, and hospitals. Services span rope and lift window cleaning, leak detection and repair at height, sealant and gasket replacement, pressure washing, and facade washing, all performed by in-house crews. The company is fully insured, credentialed with major property management platforms, and provides photo and video documentation of completed work.

Role Description The Rope Access Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. This role involves performing high-rise and low-rise window cleaning using rope access, lifts, and water-fed pole systems, following all safety protocols and company procedures. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and inspecting rope access systems, cleaning glass and building facades, assisting with leak detection from the exterior, and supporting basic sealant and gasket replacement work as directed. Technicians will document work with photos and videos, communicate clearly with supervisors and teammates, and help maintain equipment and work areas in safe operating condition. The position requires consistent punctuality, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely perform Working at Height / Work at Height tasks, with strong awareness of fall protection and safety procedures.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Rope Access techniques for high-rise window cleaning and exterior building work.
• Experience or aptitude in Window Cleaning for commercial or residential buildings, including use of water-fed pole systems.
• Skill in visual Inspection of equipment, anchor points, and building surfaces to identify safety issues or maintenance needs.
• Strong physical fitness, balance, and stamina suitable for climbing, lifting, and working on ropes for extended periods.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Comfort working outdoors at height in varied weather conditions, with appropriate PPE.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Nashville, TN area.
• Prior rope access, high-rise, or construction experience is beneficial; industry certifications (e.g., SPRAT or IRATA) are a plus.
