Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking Rope Access Technicians for a temporary project in Texas City, TX. This on-site role requires a 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification and SPRAT/IRATA Level I or II rope access certification.

The assignment lasts 5-6 weeks with a 4x10 schedule, starting September 2026. Candidates should be able to work well in a team, demonstrate safety leadership, and coordinate with the project team to meet safety, quality, and schedule expectations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level I or II Rope Access certification (SPRAT or IRATA).
• Must have 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent MISTRAS professionally at all times on site.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely follow-through.
• Work within a team to complete field and administrative tasks on time and with quality.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure permits, LOTO, and JHA details are understood by all team members.
• Lead daily safety meetings and update JHA when needed.
• Support leadership by reporting issues and improving performance.
