Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Rope Access Technician Level III to provide technical leadership across our operations in Beaumont and regional teams.

The successful candidate will demonstrate IRATA Level 3 certification, extensive experience with rigging, rescue techniques, and the ability to guide junior technicians while maintaining operational safety and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required.
• A thorough understanding of rope access applications, theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques.

Position Summary

The Rope Access Level III position is a senior-level role that provides technical leadership and support across the organization at the regional, country, and/or enterprise level.

Responsibilities

• Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
• Be conversant with relevant work techniques
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
• Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
• Assist other technicians as required
• Ensure operational safety of all equipment

Requirements

• IRATA Level 3 Certification required
• A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
• Current first aid certification
• A valid drivers' license is preferred
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
• Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
