Job summary

Turner Industries in Baton Rouge, LA seeks NCCER credentialed painters with Rope Access levels I–III. The role involves surface preparation and applying protective coatings on assets to prevent corrosion, with responsibilities including access via rope systems, adherence to safety requirements, and reporting to the Foreman.

Essential qualifications include high school diploma, NCCER, and IRATA/SPRAT levels; TWIC Card and CPR are preferred, with post-offer drug/alcohol screening and safety policy

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• IRATA / SPRAT Level 1, 2 or 3 certification.
• TWIC Card.
• Must have NCCER certification.
• CPR certification.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed policy.
• Must comply with job site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Access assets using industrial rope access methods to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare surfaces per specification for proper adhesion and coating.
• Apply protective coatings for corrosion prevention and identification.
• Possess ability to work at height and in challenging environments as needed.
