Job summary

AIS Infrastructure Group is seeking a Level 1 Rope Access Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and light mechanical tasks at heights using rope access methods. This role requires validating IRATA or SPRAT Level 1 certification and the ability to travel to job sites, including offshore locations, with a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• IRATA or SPRAT Level 1 certification required or equivalent.
• Ability to travel to job sites including offshore locations.
• Ability to work at heights for extended periods.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Rig and de-rig rope access systems per IRATA/SPRAT standards.
• Perform inspections and light mechanical work using rope access techniques.
• Record inspection findings and maintain documentation.
• Follow site safety protocols, permits, and JHAs.
• Perform NDT methods as qualified (VT, UT, MT, PT, RT, PAUT).
• Maintain and store rope access gear and equipment.
