Job summary

Austin Industrial, Inc. seeks a rope access Level 2 Insulator Journeyman based in Freeport, Texas. This maintenance role requires working at heights, performing inspections, and repairs using rope access techniques on industrial sites.

The ideal candidate has a current LEVEL 2 ROPE ACCESS CERT, a valid driver’s license, and 3–5 years journeyman experience. The job includes 4x10s shifts with occasional overtime and no per diem.

Qualifications

• LEVEL 2 ROPE ACCESS CERTIFICATE
• Valid Driver's License
• 3–5 years Journeyman level experience
• Able to pass physical exam
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Execute rope access techniques to reach work areas for inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Use hand and power tools to weld, rig, and operate heavy equipment.
• Inspect equipment and structures to identify faults.
• Collaborate to ensure safety protocols are followed during operations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in working condition and report findings.
• Transport materials on construction sites with trucks or forklifts.
