Job summary

ABM Industries Inc. is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform cleaning duties and ensure a safe, orderly environment across assigned facilities in the Seattle area. This role involves thorough exterior glass cleaning of high-rise buildings and demanding outdoor work.

You will work with rope access systems, follow safety protocols per IRATA or SPRAT and OSHA, and inspect equipment. A current rope access certification and physical fitness are required; prior experience in construction,

Qualifications

Rope access certification required (IRATA or SPRAT).
Physically fit, able to lift heavy equipment and work at height.
Experience in construction, inspection, or maintenance is beneficial.
Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
Problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges.

Responsibilities

Safe access and rigging: Install, inspect, and maintain rope access systems and rigging to reach high-elevation work areas.
Window washing and exterior cleaning of buildings, bridges, and infrastructure.
Non-destructive testing (NDT) to check for structural flaws.
Repair work on building envelopes including waterproofing and caulking.
Install, maintain, and repair equipment used on-site.
Follow safety protocols per IRATA or SPRAT and OSHA.
