Job summary

Big Apple Window Company is seeking a disciplined Rope Access Technician for our High-Rise Division in New York. This entry-level role includes training and growth opportunities, with a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and clear communication with building management.

You will perform window cleaning and facade inspections at height, complete gear inspections, assist with rigging operations, and follow OSHA and SPRAT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current SPRAT or IRATA Level I (or higher) certification.
• Valid OSHA 30 Construction card (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with high-rise window cleaning or facade maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License (Preferred).
• Zero tolerance for drug/alcohol use.

Responsibilities

• Perform window cleaning and facade inspections via rope access (RDA) on high-rise buildings.
• Complete daily gear inspections and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Maintain a professional appearance and communicate respectfully with building management.
• Assist with rigging and de-rigging operations.
• Follow all OSHA and SPRAT guidelines without exception.
