Job summary

FXI is seeking a Root Cause & Corrective Action Engineer to drive quality improvements across its manufacturing network. You will lead investigations and guide rapid containment and long-term corrective actions.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Quality teams, applying Lean principles and structured problem solving to prevent recurrence. The role requires 50-70% travel to support multiple plant locations and a strong track record of root cause analysis in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing quality, process engineering, or operations experience.
• Proven success in leading root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ability to travel 50-70% to support multiple plant locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations across manufacturing, process, product, and customer quality issues.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions with rapid containment and validation.
• Facilitate structured problem solving using Red X, 3-Legged 5-Why, Is / Is Not Analysis.
• Identify and reduce process variation with Shainin Red X techniques.
• Analyze trends across facilities to identify recurring problems and risks.
• Lead Read Across initiatives to standardize lessons learned and best practices.
• Champion lean quality principles to eliminate waste and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
• Support customer quality management and communicate corrective actions.
• Develop organizational capability through coaching and training.
