Shamin Hotels is hiring a Rooms Inspector (Housekeeping Supervisor) for the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront in Virginia Beach, VA. The role pays $18.00–$19.00 per hour and requires open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will inspect rooms and public spaces, give feedback to housekeepers, and support the team as needed to maintain standards. Work alongside the Housekeeping Supervisor, ensuring rooms meet brand standards before release, and help keep operations running

Responsabilités

• Inspect completed guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean, in good repair, and meet brand standard before rooms are released.
• Provide clear, objective feedback to room attendants on quality and consistency.
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department for repair.
• Confirm room attendants have the supplies and PPE they need to meet standard.
• Monitor overall cleanliness of assigned areas, including public spaces and entrances.
• During staffing shortages or high occupancy, assist by cleaning rooms and taking a board to maintain hours.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Shamin Hotels is looking for a Rooms Inspector at the Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront to ensure every guest room meets our standard of cleanliness and comfort before it's released. Working alongside the Housekeeping Supervisor, you inspect completed rooms, flag anything that falls short, and help keep the housekeeping team running to standard.

What You'll Do

• Inspect completed guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean, in good repair, and meet brand standard before rooms are released.
• Provide clear, objective feedback to room attendants on quality and consistency.
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the appropriate department for repair.
• Confirm room attendants have the supplies and PPE they need to meet standard.
• Monitor overall cleanliness of assigned areas, including public spaces and entrances.
• Clean guest rooms and take a board directly as needed — during staffing shortages, high occupancy, or the off-season — to support the team and maintain consistent hours.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Open availability is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed based on business demands. To maintain full-time hours year-round, inspectors should expect to clean rooms and take a board during staffing shortages and slower off-season periods.
