Job summary

StepStone-Hospitality-Inc is seeking a dedicated housekeeping supervisor for the Wichita, KS area. Responsibilities include opening/closing the department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper and supervising Room Attendants to ensure rooms are cleaned to Stepstones and hotel standards.

You will inspect rooms daily, log missing items, superviseLaundry, and coordinate with Engineering for repairs. Weekend and holiday work is required. Equal opportunity employer welcoming diverse applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and stocking room supplies.
• Supervise Room Attendants, including re-cleaning of items Missed or not cleaned to standards.
• Log missing items and maintain catalogue of lost and found; ship or mail out claimed items to guests.
• Supervise Laundry attendants including assist with folding and maintaining par levels to the day’s needs.
• Report items in need of repair to Engineering and maintain equipment used in work.
• Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.
• Weekends and Holidays are required.

• Supervise Room Attendants, including the re-cleaning of any items missed or not cleaned to Stepstones and hotel standards.
• Log all missing items and maintain catalogue of lost and found and ship or mail out claimed items to the guests.
• Supervise Laundry attendants including assist with folding and maintaining daily par levels to the day's needs.
