Room Stocker - Full Time

The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel or Miller Time Pub & Grill is looking to expand our Housekeeping team. We are seeking a room stocker who will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and supplying designated areas according to established standards of cleanliness.

Come be a part of history at this Nebraska Landmark! Part of Milwaukee-based Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel in downtown Lincoln has been serving Nebraska's capital city for nearly 90 years and has set the benchmark for hospitality.

What will you be doing?

• Pick up and deliver supplies and other items upon request. Report all repair needs to housekeeping management.
• Remove all trash and linen from room attendant carts throughout the day and empty carts at the end of the shift to ensure no linen or trash remains.
• Stock linen closets and supplies with proper inventory. Sweep and mop back landings, stairwells, and closets regularly, and remove all contraband.
• Support the work efforts of other Housekeeping associates as directed, including stripping rooms when needed.
• Follow all Marcus Hotels and Resorts policies, OSHA standards, Marriott standards, and key control procedures.
• Attend all scheduled mandatory Housekeeping Department meetings, training sessions, and hotel meetings.

What you will bring to the role?

• Ability to operate all cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Professional appearance, well-groomed, courteous demeanor.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks repetitively.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 lbs. using all body limbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, and stretch regularly, and to operate a vacuum and push a cart.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, under pressure.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
