Job summary

Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, seeks a dedicated Food & Beverage Server to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our luxury resort setting. You will take and deliver food orders, describe menu items with vivid detail, and ensure in-room service meets our standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders including any special needs to guest rooms and verify accuracy with kitchen and guest.
• Greet guests and describe menu items with clear, vivid explanations of origin, taste, and preparation.
• Break down, clean and set up room service tables and side stations; use mobile devices as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs, check satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly to requests.
• Close guest checks securely with correct room number and signature; handle voids or comped meals accordingly.
• Follow Four Seasons’ rules and standards; maintain professional relations with colleagues and supervisors.

About The Role

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

Essential Functions

What you will do

• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest's original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. Make proper use of our mobile technology devices and programs.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Non-essential Functions

• Take guest orders in the absence of order taker.
• Plate and prepare small food items.

What You Bring

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Minimum of 1 year in food service or related work preferred.
