Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers the F & B items on trays according to the set standards.
• Greets guests in rooms and on the phone according to the standards.
• Apply food and beverage handling rules
• Bring wine selections to the room with appropriate glasses, follow with proper wine service procedure.
• Constantly walk the hallways, to pick up dirty trays
• Deliver amenities as arranged by guest service.
• Prepares accurate checks, follows cashiering procedures.
• Brew fresh coffee and tea
• Fill salt & pepper, sugar bowls, creamers, fold napkins and polish silverware.
• Organize the trays with proper set up.
• Restock the service counter with items such as straws, glasses, cups, condiments.
• Polish glasses, silverware as well as trays whenever needed.
• Completely understand and follow the department and hotel standards
• Takes responsibility to keep the room service area clean at all times
• Retrieves food items from the kitchen and beverages from the fridge OR the lounge bar.
• Collects dirty items and brings them to the dishwasher.
• Maintains guests satisfaction his/her top priority
• Follows and works according to the standard operating procedures of the room service
• Takes the initiative to serve the guests even if they are sitting in the gardens.
• Responsible, along with the manager to train and motivate staff.
