Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is seeking a Room Service Server in Indianapolis to deliver meals with proper etiquette and create an exceptional dining experience for guests. You will replenish supplies, answer calls, relay orders to kitchen and bar, and ensure timely, sanitary service.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and certification in TIPS and Food Safety. A background check is required, and the position pays $9.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be TIPS and Food Safety certified.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes at the room service station.
• Answers room service phone within 3 rings, answers questions, and takes orders from guests.
• Relays order to kitchen and/or the bar.
• Arranges orders on service trays, ensuring flair, sanitation, and timeliness of delivery.
• Collects trays delivered to keep hallways clear and assist the guest through the removal of food.
• Completes side work as deemed necessary by management to ensure the smooth operations of the department.
• Other duties as assigned by the leader
