Job summary

The Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is seeking a friendly Bus Person to support dining operations by maintaining cleanliness, replenishing supplies, and assisting wait staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience. You will carry dirty dishes to the kitchen, replace soiled linens, reset tables with silverware and glassware, restock the service bar, and greet guests warmly.

Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry dirty dishes from the dining room to the kitchen/dishroom.
• Replace soiled table linens and reset tables with silverware and glassware.
• Replenish clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in the dining room.
• Decorate and restock the service bar with food items, utensils, and dishes.
• Serve ice water and butter to guests.
• Clean and polish sneeze guards, glass shelves, service bar equipment, and dispensers.
• Assist wait staff as directed by management to ensure timely guest service.
• Take initiative to greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future

• Quickly and quietly carry dirty dishes from the dining room to the kitchen/dishroom.

This position is $14.00 an hour
