Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Room Service Host to coordinate meal service for patients at Rhode Island Hospital. You will collect meal choices, distribute trays, and communicate dietary needs to the nursing staff. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to use the CBORD system for accurate order entry.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute menus to new admissions and enter meal choices into CBORD.
• Communicate with nursing staff about patient diets and meal delivery.
• Enter/update meal orders, preferences, and special requests in CBORD Room Service tablet system.
• Deliver patient nourishments, snacks, and tube feeding products.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with inventory and waste disposal.
