Job summary

Baptist Health in Paducah, KY is hiring a Room Service Associate for full-time, first shift. You will serve meals to patients in a professional, timely manner and ensure dietary restrictions and diet orders are followed.

In this role, you will coordinate with nursing to confirm accurate diet prescriptions, offer menu options, and respect dietary preferences and restrictions, including allergy considerations and cultural needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure meals meet diet orders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of therapeutic diets and proper foods served with each diet.
• Offers patients menu options and calls isolation patients for selections.
• Works with nursing to ensure diet prescriptions and patient needs are met.
• Provides alternatives within diet orders respecting allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
