Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Room Service Associate to ensure patients receive accurate, timely, and high-quality meal service while delivering hospitality and exceptional customer service.

You will verify dietary restrictions, take accurate orders, coordinate with the kitchen and clinical teams, and support patient satisfaction initiatives in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient meal ordering calls and assist patients with menu selections.
• Verify diet restrictions, food allergies, and meal eligibility requirements.
• Accurately enter meal orders into dietary management systems.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, hospitality, and clinical team members to ensure meal accuracy and timely delivery.
• Support patient satisfaction initiatives by responding promptly to patient requests and concerns.
• Assist with resolving meal service issues and implementing service recovery efforts when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient meal service activities.
• Support room service operations by coordinating meal requests, snacks, and special nutrition needs.
• Promote exceptional customer service through every patient interaction.
• Contribute to a positive dining experience that supports healing, comfort, and recovery.
