Summary of Job Duties: The Room Service Ambassador assists patients with menu selections, ensuring they receive meals and nourishments according to physician-prescribed diets, food allergies, and preferences. They provide excellent customer service to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• High School diploma/GED plus computer skills
• Basic keyboard skills and telephone etiquette

Preferred:

• Experience in food service, customer service, or patient care

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service during menu selections
• Take food orders over the phone
• Enter selections into electronic system, update and record patient info
• Adjust menu choices based on meal patterns, allergies, and preferences
• Troubleshoot service issues affecting patient satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned
