Job summary

Hospitality America is seeking a detail-oriented Room Inspector for their Hilton Columbia Center property. The successful candidate will maintain high cleanliness standards and ensure exceptional guest experiences by training housekeeping staff and conducting inspections.

• Maintains BRAND cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas.
• Trains staff in all aspects of housekeeping including guest service.
• Administers guest satisfaction inspection procedures and reports.
• Plans work schedules and room assignments.
• Responds promptly to guests’ needs.
• Empowers hotel staff to deliver great guest service.
• Ensures housekeepers know responsibilities.
• Recognizes and corrects safety hazards.

Availability

This role requires open availability including weekends.

What You’ll Do

• Maintains BRAND cleanliness standards for both guest rooms and public areas and inspects them to ensure that standards are met.
• Trains staff in all aspects of housekeeping including guest service.
• Administers guest satisfaction inspection procedures and reports.
• Plans work schedules and room assignments with minimum disruption to guests.
• Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guests’ needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
• Empowers hotel staff to deliver great guest service by encouraging responsiveness to guests’ needs.
• Ensures housekeepers know responsibilities and manage against those responsibilities.
• Recognizes and corrects conditions which may create security, fire or accident hazards.
