Job Description Summary

The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver excellent service according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
2. Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly.
3. Clean and service assigned rooms per established standards.
4. Notify supervisors upon completion of service.
5. Monitor laundry supplies and operate laundry equipment as needed.
6. Minimize waste of supplies and assist with deep cleaning projects.
7. Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
8. Handle lost and found items appropriately.
9. Coordinate with team members and management.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Some housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry advantageous.
• Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
