The Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island seeks a Seasonal Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and quality in housing units, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to resort standards. This full-time opportunity supports a dynamic housekeeping team and requires reliable, service-focused individuals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Physical activity including bending, reaching, squatting.
• Physically able to move large objects like carts and linen.
• Physically able to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and brooms.
• Ability to read and recognize room/unit numbers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guest and team members.

Job description

The Sundial Beach Resort and Spahas a full time opportunity available for a Seasonal Room Attendantto joinour dynamic team on Sanibel Island. The Room Attendant provides exceptional guest services by maintaining an acceptable level of cleanliness and quality control in the housing units assigned according to the standards of the Resort. We are looking for reliable and service focused individuals to join us in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Clean all units assigned and ensure they are in accordance with the level of quality for the Resort.
• Report any problems of quality to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Report any maintenance problems to Housekeeping Department designated personnel.
• Ensure all assets and supplies for the department are secure and in storage at all times.
• Report to Safety any suspicious activity on the floors.
• Keep Executive Housekeeper promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so corrective action may be taken.
• Follow all schedule changes by management.
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and attendance policies and procedures.
• Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department.
• Be familiar with resort services, amenities, and outlets.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Available for work assignments outside of associate’s customary work schedule.
• Adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
• Compliance with all resort policies and procedures and described and communicated by management.
• Carry out any reasonable request by management of which the associate is capable of performing.
