Job summary

Regent Santa Monica Beach is hiring a Room Attendant to deliver exceptional luxury guest experiences. You will ensure rooms are impeccably clean, well stocked, and maintained to Regent’s standards, supporting a seamless guest journey on the Los Angeles coastline.

Reporting to the housekeeping leadership, you will follow established cleaning sequences, attend briefs, and collaborate with team members to uphold impeccable presentation and service, including safety and PPE procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping or room attendant experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations and presentation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain immaculate guest rooms and ensure amenities are stocked.
• Attend daily shift briefings and review room assignments.

Job Summary:

As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional luxury guest experience. You will ensure guest rooms are impeccably clean, organized, and fully stocked with Regent’s signature amenities. Your attention to detail, consistency, and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of every guest, helping bring the Regent experience to life.

A little bit about your day:

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, every day is different, but you will mostly be:

• Uphold Regent’s service philosophy and luxury standards in all interactions.
• Maintain impeccable personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Attend daily shift briefings and review room assignments.
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow established room cleaning sequences and quality expectations.
• Ensure all assigned rooms are properly stocked with linens, amenities, coffee service, and collateral.
• Handle guest belongings with care and follow established service standards.
• Monitor room privacy indicators and respect guest preferences.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or special cleaning needs using the designated system.
• Ensure proper use, labeling, and handling of cleaning chemicals in compliance with MSDS guidelines.
• Use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Update room status in the hotel system accurately and promptly.
• Respond to guest requests such as laundry pickup in a timely manner.
• Complete final inspections to ensure rooms meet Regent quality standards.
• Follow all safety, security, and lost & found procedures.

What we need from you:

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping or room attendant experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, or lifestyle brand.
• Proven ability to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards and attention to detail in a high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations, service standards, and presentation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 100 pounds, and perform repetitive movements including standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

What you can expect from us:

The hourlypay range for this role is $26.92 to $33.65. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed atRegent Santa Monica Beach.
