Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness goals.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work cart, properly stocked with supplies.
• Utilize equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of assigned guest areas.
• Daily change and inspection of linens and towels following Green Program standards.
• Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report incidents.
• Respect guests’ property and care for equipment.
• Report to work on time, maintain accurate time records, and follow room assignment procedures.
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co‑workers at all times.
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Neat, pleasant personality and strong time‑management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Physical ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach corners on floors and high places.
• Capacity to navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
• Proficiency with equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
• Capacity to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

Compensation

Starting salary: $18.75 per hour.
