Job summary

Hyatt Regency Greenwich on Old Greenwich, CT is hiring a Part-time Room Attendant to maintain clean, safe guest rooms and corridors. You will strip beds, replenish linens and amenities, operate vacuums, and assist with restocking heavy carts. Flexible AM/PM/weekend/holiday schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and extend arms overhead to clean.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers.
• Lift and move bed linens and supplies up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents.
• Strip beds and change linens.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout the room and empty trash.
• Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
• Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
• Visually inspect room for cleanliness and notify completion.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
