Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott York is seeking a dependable Housekeeper - Room Attendant to keep guest rooms clean and inviting. You will work with a team to ensure rooms meet Marriott standards and guest expectations are exceeded.

Responsibilities include changing linens, refreshing amenities, and maintaining spotless bathrooms and hallways. Weekend availability and a positive, can-do attitude are valued. This role offers growth within the hotel brand and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/move carts.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.
• Hotel housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to Marriott brand standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and refresh guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, furniture, and surfaces.
• Vacuum, dust, and sanitize guest rooms and hallways.
• Restock housekeeping carts and supplies.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Help keep storage rooms and housekeeping areas organized.
• Work with the team to keep rooms ready for arriving guests.
