Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Southington is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and maintain guest rooms to established standards. You will greet guests warmly, clean rooms efficiently, change linens, and ensure safety and quality.

The role may include additional duties during peak times or staff shortages. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (preferred) and prior housekeeping experience or training, plus fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Must understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms within standard timeframes using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture, walls and fixtures; maintain cleanliness of rooms.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in rooms.
• Handle lost and found items per policy.
• Adhere to safety rules and OSHA standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed by management.
