Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant in Pasadena to welcome guests warmly, clean and prepare rooms to the brand standards, and support the front-of-house areas as needed. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work efficiently within busy shifts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping experience or training, with English proficiency necessary for communication with guests and team members.

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within the allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; clean walls as needed.
• Notify managers about repairs in guest rooms.
• Handle guest items left in rooms per lost and found policy.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety guidelines and wear protective equipment.
• Assist with lobby attendant duties when needed.
• Aim to improve department and overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
