Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning and preparing suite rooms and public areas of the hotel.

Essential Job Functions

• Cleans and prepares sleeping rooms for occupancy through proper application of Chartwell procedures.
• Performs hospitality suite cleaning procedures.
• Stocks and maintains carts with specific products in required quantities to clean assigned suites.
• Clean up to 16 one-bedroom suites in an eight-hour period.
• Completes the Room Attendant Daily Report, correctly identifies the status of each assigned suite, and reports any maintenance problems or product shortages.
• Maintains security for guests and property by keeping suite doors locked at all times, reporting suspicious activity, properly labeling lost and found articles, and observing all safety regulations.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper, such as vacuuming corridors, cleaning public or associate restrooms, washing windows, working in laundry, checking rooms, or training other associates.
• Returns keys and the Room Attendant Daily Report to the Executive Housekeeper and checks the schedule for the next day.

Experience

Experience in hotel-level housekeeping preferred.

Physical Requirements

While performing duties, the employee must sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or fingers, lift up to 15 pounds, and communicate effectively. Vision abilities required include close vision for computer use.
