Job summary

The Westin DFW Airport is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and maintain high standards of comfort for our guests. You will greet guests in a warm manner and ensure rooms meet established cleanliness standards within allotted time frames.

Responsibilities include changing linens, restocking towels and amenities, and reporting any repairs needed. This role requires English communication and a background in housekeeping with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to standard within the allotted time using cleaning methods.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture; dust walls and fixtures.
• Notify managers about needed repairs in rooms.

• Follow safety procedures and MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby duties when needed.
• Support guest satisfaction scores and overall service quality.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High School diploma preferred.
