Overview

Opportunity: Room Attendant

Clean and maintain guest rooms to ensure they meet established standards.

Your Growth Path

Housekeeping Supervisor → Assistant Executive Housekeeper → Executive Housekeeper

Your Focus

• Greet guests warmly and courteously upon interaction.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Report repairs needed in guest rooms to management.
• Handle guest items left in rooms following lost and found policies.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties during peak periods or staff shortages.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work toward improving departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
