Job summary

Landry's in Galveston, TX is seeking a Room Attendant to clean and sanitize guest rooms and baths to ensure readiness for guests.

You will perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and trash removal while delivering friendly, professional service. You will also inspect rooms for maintenance needs before release to guests, ensuring safety and high standards across all assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Room Attendant.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance.
• Vacuum, dust, remove trash, change bed linens, and other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Provide a high level of service with guest interactions, problem-solving and safety.
• Check rooms for repairs before releasing them for occupancy.

Overview

It is the responsibility of the Room Attendant to clean and sanitize guest rooms in their assigned area to ensure the rooms are ready for guest arrival.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and efficiently cleans guest rooms and bathrooms to meet standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance
• Performs tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, removing trash, changing bed linens, and any other cleaning procedures necessary
• Provides a high level of service when engaging with guests, using problem-solving, attention to detail, and guest safety
• Checks rooms and notes repair needs prior to releasing room for future occupancy (doesn’t release deficient rooms)
