Job summary

NORTHERN HOTELS GROUP, LLC is seeking a Room Attendant at Hampton Inn St. Ignace Lakefront Mackinac to clean and service guest rooms to brand standards, reporting to the Housekeeping Manager/Assistant GM.

This hourly, non-exempt role supports guest satisfaction by maintaining clean, comfortable rooms and adhering to company policies. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred; hotel experience a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and cleaning procedures.
• Attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds and replenishing amenities.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and remove trash from guest rooms and assigned areas.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance issues and report concerns promptly.
• Restock linens, towels, and guest supplies as needed.
• Follow all cleaning procedures, safety standards, and chemical handling guidelines.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to housekeeping services.

Position Summary
