Overview

Maintain hotel rooms and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Clean bathrooms, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
2. Follow cleaning procedures and safety instructions for cleaning agents.
3. Strip and make beds, change linens, lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Dust furniture, pictures, shelves, and window ledges thoroughly.
5. Vacuum rooms and empty trash cans.
6. Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
7. Manage room keys, inspect rooms for cleanliness, and mark completion.
8. Maintain regular attendance and be available to work as scheduled.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Ability to scrub surfaces, extend arms overhead, and work in confined spaces.
2. Team player willing to assist colleagues.
3. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
4. Ability to push/pull up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodations.
5. Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
6. Adapt communication to different audiences.

Compensation

Not eligible for tips or discretionary bonuses.
