Job summary

Seacliff Inn, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Aptos is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and public areas. You will clean, restock amenities, report maintenance issues, and assist with laundry as needed.

The ideal candidate has housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team while following safety procedures and delivering a welcoming guest experience.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

THE ROLE

As a Room Attendant, you’ll play an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay for every guest. You’ll take pride in the details, keeping guest rooms and assigned areas to our standards while working efficiently and safely as part of the Housekeeping team. You will:

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms to Company standards
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, wipe surfaces and walls, and complete other room-cleaning tasks
• Complete rooms efficiently within established time guidelines while maintaining quality
• Restock guest room amenities according to Company standards
• Report maintenance issues or items requiring immediate attention
• Report any damage, missing items, or guest belongings found in rooms to the appropriate manager
• Follow all lost-and-found procedures
• Maintain complete security of assigned master room keys and return them at the end of each shift
• Assist with laundry and other Housekeeping duties as needed
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests, managers, and fellow team members
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized Housekeeping environment
• Support other team members and hotel departments as needed

• Ability to frequently walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
