• Report any damaged items or guest belongings.
• Follow lost-and-found procedures and secure keys.
• Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Communicate professionally with guests, managers, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized housekeeping area.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

Perched along the bluffs of Pismo Beach, Spyglass Inn is a relaxed coastal retreat offering beautiful Pacific Ocean views and easy access to the Central Coast. The 82-room hotel features ocean-view accommodations, select rooms with private balconies, patios, and fireplaces, along with a heated outdoor pool and spa, ocean-view lawn areas, and fire pits overlooking the water. Just off Highway 1 and minutes from Shell Beach, Avila Beach, and downtown Pismo Beach, Spyglass Inn offers a comfortable home base for exploring the coast, local attractions, and nearby wine country.

THE ROLE

As a Room Attendant, you’ll play an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay for every guest. You’ll take pride in the details, keeping guest rooms and assigned areas to our standards while working efficiently and safely as part of the Housekeeping team. You will:

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms to Company standards
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, wipe surfaces and walls, and complete other room-cleaning tasks
• Complete rooms efficiently within established time guidelines while maintaining quality
• Restock guest room amenities according to Company standards
• Report maintenance issues or items requiring immediate attention
• Report any damage, missing items, or guest belongings found in rooms to the appropriate manager
• Follow all lost-and-found$17.50 procedures
• Maintain complete security of assigned master room keys and return them at the end of each shift
• Assist with laundry and other Housekeeping duties as needed
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests, managers, and fellow team members
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized Housekeeping environment
• Support other team members and hotel departments as needed

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining Company standards

• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and use good judgment
• Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team
• Ability to follow safety, security, and lost-and-found procedures
• Ability to work with approved cleaning agents
• Ability to frequently walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
