About the Role

We are looking for experienced Housekeepers to join the housekeeping team at the La Quinta Resort and Club. The housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating a memorable guest experience and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness standards.
• Maintain orderly and properly stocked work cart; utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities appropriately.
• Perform thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas.
• Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following Green Program standards.
• Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report incidents.
• Respect guests’ property and maintain responsible care of equipment.
• Report to work on time and maintain accurate time records.
• Stay alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.

• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions.
• Ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners, high places, and operate equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, dusters, and other cleaning supplies.
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.
• Ability to navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.

Compensation

$19.50 per hour.
