The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest complaints and requests, ensuring satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas following established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Notify supervisor upon completion of service or report any issues.
• If assigned to laundry, monitor supplies and equipment, operate washers and dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
• Minimize waste of supplies and amenities.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items according to procedures.
• Promote teamwork and communication with other shifts and management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry preferred.
• Fluent in English; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about; lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
