Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated room attendant to maintain clean and safe guest rooms at our San Antonio property. You will clean bathrooms, change linens, restock supplies, and ensure every room meets high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and clean rooms and bathrooms.
• Must be willing to pitch in and help co-workers as part of a team.
• Ability to push/pull equipment up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors.
• Strip beds and change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, shelves, ledges; replenish amenities and supplies.
• Push/pull vacuum and restock heavy carts; sign for keys and restock rooms.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
