Exciting opportunity at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown - Fort Shelby! We're expanding our Housekeeping department and seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our exceptional team. Strategically situated just two blocks from Huntington Place, our all-suite hotel provides easy access to the People Mover’s Fort/Cass station. Discover renowned landmarks such as Ford Field, Little Caesars Arena, and the Fox Theatre mere minutes away. What will I be doing?

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning between 12-14 guest checkout rooms daily and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Clean guest suites as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform guest turn down service, as needed

What are we looking for?

• 2 + years professional cleaning experience required
• Lift/push/pull up to 50Lbs - Required
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and holidays Must be available to work various shifts from 9:00am - 5:00pm and 4:00pm - 11:30pm is required
• Hotel Housekeeping experience preferred
