Job Overview

The AC Hotel by Marriott Minneapolis, located in downtown Minneapolis, offers a modern, stylish environment with Spanish roots, European soul, and a global mindset. This 9-story, 245-key hotel features amenities such as an AC lounge and bar, library, media salons, meeting spaces, and a fitness center, connected to the City skyway system. Sage Hospitality seeks a creative and detail-oriented individual to manage daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and hotel profitability.

Responsibilities

1. Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms; maintain cleanliness and organization of carts and storerooms.
2. Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
3. Replace towels, soaps, amenities, and restock literature as needed to ensure guest needs are met.
4. Wash and maintain cleanliness of all hard floor areas.
5. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings, including vents and ceiling corners.
6. Strip beds and remake with fresh linens; check bedspread, blankets, and pads for cleanliness.
7. Inspect and clean closets, restocking supplies as necessary.
8. Vacuum rooms, hallways, and public areas thoroughly, including under furniture.
9. Inspect door and window locks; report any safety issues immediately.
10. Check room equipment for proper operation; report maintenance issues promptly.
11. Secure equipment, keys, and supplies to prevent loss or theft.
12. Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts.
• Push, pull, and move furniture and equipment.
