The AC Hotel by Marriott Minneapolis is situated downtown at the intersection of 4th and Hennepin, near the Minneapolis Public Library. This 9-story, 245-room hotel features an AC lounge and bar, library, media salons, meeting spaces, a boardroom, fitness center, and connects to the City skyway system.

Sage Hospitality is hiring for the AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown. We seek a creative individual who can bring this AC Marriott to life while managing operations to ensure profitability.

Job Overview

Responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to meet standards of cleanliness and propriety, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenue.

Responsibilities

1. Retrieve items from shelves and storerooms; set up and maintain cleaning carts and storerooms in an organized manner.
2. Clean and wipe windows, doors, walls, fixtures, and hard-to-reach areas using ladders or stools; maintain cleanliness of guest and public restrooms.
3. Replace and restock towels, soaps, amenities, and literature as needed.
4. Wash floors, dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings.
5. Strip beds, remake with clean linens, and check bedding for cleanliness.
6. Inspect and clean closets, restocking supplies.
7. Vacuum rooms, hallways, and public areas thoroughly, moving furniture as needed.
8. Inspect door and window locks; report any issues immediately.
9. Check and report the condition of room equipment; ensure proper functioning.
10. Secure equipment, keys, and supplies to prevent loss or theft.
11. Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

No formal education or experience required. Basic knowledge of cleaning principles, products, and equipment is essential. Ability to understand instructions and communicate effectively.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, and maneuver heavy carts and furniture, and work in strenuous conditions for extended periods, including in hot and humid environments.
