Job Description Summary: The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver excellent service according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and service assigned rooms and areas following established procedures.
• Notify supervisor upon completion of service or if issues arise.
• Assist with laundry operations, monitor supplies, operate washers/dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
• Minimize waste of supplies and assist with deep cleaning projects.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items appropriately.
• Promote teamwork and ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry beneficial.
• Fluency in English preferred; other languages advantageous.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular use of cleaning chemicals required.

Additional Information:

Pay range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
