Room Attendant Overview:

First impressions are everything! As a Room Attendant with Waterford Hotel Group, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest by ensuring guest rooms are comfortable, inviting, and clean. A housekeeping Room Attendant promotes a positive image of the property, ensuring a memorable guest experience.

What you will be doing:

Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure all rooms are inviting and clean and address all guest requests.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests and responding to queries.
• Changing bed linen and making beds.
• Replacing used towels and bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Vacuuming carpets.
• Dusting and polishing furniture.
• Emptying trash containers.
• Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
• Reporting technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Updating the status of guest rooms to Supervisors or Managers.
• Restocking cleaning supplies at shift end.

Job Requirements:

• A keen eye for detail, time management, and great customer service skills.
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work as a team and independently.
• Flexible working hours.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Physical mobility and stamina.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to follow instructions.
