Job summary

Windsor Hospitality is seeking a Room Attendant for the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Temecula, CA to maintain clean guest rooms, corridors and public areas while delivering a welcoming, friendly guest experience in Temecula's renowned wine country.

Qualifications

• Understand simple instructions.
• Learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Perform routine work or the same task repeatedly.
• Use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including beds, bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Sort, count, fold, and carry linens.
• Move furniture, hang drapes, and adjust carpets.
• Clean rooms, halls, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and other areas.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using standard equipment.
• Clean rugs and upholstery with a vacuum cleaner.
• Polish metal fixtures and fittings.
• Wash walls, windows, doors, sills, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.
• Transport trash to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies, linens, towels, and guest amenities.
• Work with cleaning chemicals to achieve satisfactory results.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain uniform and wear name badge on property.
• Visually inspect rooms and sign completion.
• Support Windsor Hospitality core values and guest service philosophy.
• All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

About this Location

This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Temecula CA. We are located in Southern California's beautiful wine country, Temecula is known for its welcoming community, scenic rolling hills, and award-winning wineries. Why do we need you?

To clean rooms, halls, and perform a combination of tasks. This will maintain the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing toa pleasant, positive guest experience.

What will you do?

1. 1. Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
2. 2. Sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.
3. 3. Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets.
4. 4. Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways and locker rooms and other work areas.
5. 5. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors, using brooms and mops and powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
6. 6. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner.
7. 7. Polishes metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
8. 8. Washes walls, windows, door panels, sills, ceilings, and woodwork.
9. 9. Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
10. 10. Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
11. 11. Replenishes bathroom supplies, bed linens, towels, guest amenities, light bulbs, drinking glasses, and writing supplies.
12. 12. Works with chemical cleaning products to achieve satisfactory cleanliness results.
13. 13. Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
14. 14. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing a name identification badge.
15. 15. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
16. 16. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
17. 17. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Schedule & Hours

Days will vary based on business needs; hours 8:30am - 5:00pm.
