Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest room areas according to company procedures and standards.

- Stock housekeeping cart to ensure sufficient cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities for each room.
- Observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms.
- Clean assigned guest rooms, ensuring amenities are stocked and completing the housekeeping checklist.
- Mark rooms as clean for supervisor inspection.
- Report damages or hazards in guest rooms, such as broken furniture or burned-out lights.
- Secure guest room doors upon exit.
- Keep corridors and service areas tidy.
- Return lost and found items and guest room keys.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Know fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Use protective equipment as required.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or property damage to management.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
- Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bend, reach, dust, clean, and make beds and bathrooms.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and left-behind belongings.
- Use written communication to record completed work.
- Perform cleaning duties efficiently with quick hand movements.
Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
