Job summary

The ideal room attendant is responsible for replacing towels and changing bed linens, as well as performing general cleaning of all surfaces in the guest rooms.

Shift requirements

Currently searching for shifts ranging from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday and 9:00am to 5:30pm on Saturday & Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the team within the department
• Prepare for any and all guest requests
• Participate in ongoing training
• Clean all assigned guest rooms and suites
• Replace linen, vacuum floor, dust and clean bathrooms
• Remove all dirty bedding and pillowcases and replace them with fresh, clean linens
• Assure that guests have what they need for a comfortable stay in the hotel by replenishing complimentary items and providing great customer service
• Guest rooms must be clean within allotted time frame while following safety/security procedures according to hotel standards
• Comply with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel/CRO operations
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards as required by scheduling which will vary depending on the CRO needs
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications: Customize as needed

• Hotel Operations or Customer Service experience preferred
• Communicates effectively with others
• 2+ years of previous Room Attendant experience
• Able to work independently and efficiently, while maintaining a high quality of work
• Friendly and respectful when dealing with guests and staff
